DAY 01: Departure to
Manila (Meals on Board)
DAY 02: Rome (Meals on Board/Dinner)
Welcome to Rome! After airport
formalities, meet and greet, and starting a sightseeing with the Colosseum,
Arch of Constantine, Vittorio Emanuelle II Monument, Piazza Navona, and toss a
coin in the Trevi Fountain on the hope of returning to Rome. Rest of day free.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 03: Rome-San
Giovanni Rotondo (Breakfast/Dinner)
Pope’s audience (if Pope is in
Vatican) and guided tour through the Vatican to visit St. Peter’s Basilica and
Square and the Vatican Museum. Depart to San Giovanni Rotondo. Upon arrival,
dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 04: San Giovanni
Rotondo-Lanciano-Rome (Breakfast/Dinner)
After breakfast, visit the Shrine
of St. Padre Pio at the Convent of Santa Maria della Grazie. Visit the Tomb and
the Crypt. Afterwards, proceed to Lanciano and visit San Francesco Church, site
of the first Eucharistic Miracle. Long distance transfer to Rome to visit the
Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls. Transfer to your hotel for dinner and
overnight.
DAY 05: Rome-Assisi-Pisa
(Breakfast/Dinner)
Stop in Assisi, the hometown of
the Beloved St. Francis. See the Basilica of St. Francis and Basilica of Santa
Maria Degli Angeli. Continue to Pisa for a photo stop at the amazing Leaning
Tower and the nearby Cathedral. Check-in to your hotel.
DAY 06: Pisa-Monaco-Nice
(Breakfast/Dinner)
We cross the border to France and
stop at the Principality of Monaco. See the Annunciation Cathedral where Prince
Rainer & Princess Grace are buried. See the Casino Monte Carlo, the Rock,
Port Hercule and Larvotto Beach. Later, continue to Nice to see the Massena
Square, Promenade des Anglais and the Place Garibaldi before dinner and
check-in.
DAY 07: Nice-Barcelona
(Breakfast/Dinner)
Leave the French Riviera and cross over the Spanish border
on your way to Barcelona. Check-in to your hotel upon arrival.
DAY 08: Barcelona-Lourdes (Breakfast/Dinner)
Morning guided visit of
Barcelona: see the Plaza Espana, Plaza Real, Plaza Catalunya, Olympic Stadium,
Christopher Columbus Monument, Arch de Triumph and the La Sagrada Familia
Cathedral, Barcelona’s most famous landmark and Gaudi’s unfinished masterpiece.
After lunch, return to France on your way to the major pilgrimage site in Europe
– Lourdes. Check in to your hotel.
DAY 09: Lourdes (Breakfast/Dinner)
The day is free for private
devotion. You may wish to go to the Sanctuary to visit the Underground
Basilica, walk the Station of the Cross, take the Holy Bath, drink the water or
wash your face in the Grotto, or participate in the veneration of the sick pilgrim.
Entrance in St Bernadette House. In the evening, join the emotive candlelight
procession.
DAY 10: Lourdes-Nevers
(Breakfast/Dinner)
Breakfast. We will travel in the
French countryside enjoying the panorama offered by the vineyards in the
region. Arrival at Nevers, a city located on the Loire river. Visit the
monastery of Saint Gildart, where the incorrupt body of Saint Bernadette was
founded. Dinner and accommodation
DAY 11: Nevers-Paris
(Breakfast/Dinner)
Breakfast and depart to Paris. In
the afternoon, Sightseeing tour of Paris to visit places such as the Place
Vendome, the Plaza de la Opera, the Louvre, Place de Bastille and the Marais,
Notre Dame and the Pantheon, the Jardin du Luxembourg, St Germain des Pres, the
Orsay Museum, Place de la Concorde, Invalides, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees,
Louvre Museum and the Eiffel Tower (only outside photos). Free time at
Lafayette Mall. Dinner and accommodation.
DAY 12:
Paris-Bourdeaux (Breakfast/Dinner)
After breakfast, departure through the Valley region.
Arrival at Bordeaux, famous to be a wine region. Free time.
DAY 13:
Bourdeaux-Burgos (Breakfast/Dinner)
Cross the Spanish border on your way to Burgos. Dinner and
the check in to your hotel.
DAY 14:
Burgos-Santiago De Compostela (Breakfast/Dinner)
This morning visit the Burgos
Gothic Cathedral. Afterwards, drive to Santiago de Compostela, a World Heritage
City and one of the most important places in Catholicism, for dinner and
overnight.
DAY 15: Santiago De
Compostela-Fatima
Your city tour for this
historical city will take you to the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, Plaza
del Obradoiro, Monasterio de San Martin Pinario, Convento de San Francisco, Fuente
de Los Caballos and the Palacio de Raxol. Cross the border of Portugal and
drive to Fatima, another pilgrimage center. Visit the Sanctuary, including the
Chapel of the Apparitions and the village of Aljustrel, where some of the
apparitions (1917) took place. Dinner, then check-in to your hotel. You can
maybe join the candlelight procession in the evening.
DAY 16:
Fatima-Avila-Madrid (Breakfast/Dinner)
Free time for private devotion.
Then, cross the border to Spain and stop in Avila – completely encircled by 11
th century walls and birthplace of St. Theresa of Avila and visit the Convent
of St. Theresa and the Cathedral. Continue to the capital city, Madrid.
Overnight and dinner at the hotel.
DAY 17: Departure
Madrid (Breakfast/Meals on Board)
This morning go on a half day
city sightseeing tour of this beautiful city and see the Puerto del Sol,
Granvia, Cibeles Fountain, Alcala Gate, Santiago Barnabeu Stadium, Plaza de
Espanya, Prado Museum, highlighted by a visit to the Royal Palaca, the official
residence of the Spanish Royal Family at the city of Madrid. Balance of the day
is free until transfer to airport. Departure from Rome to Doha via Qatar
